Melbourne: take the Hume Highway to ALBURY WODONGA, onto the Murray Valley Highway toward Sydney Tallangatta and Corryong, then to Khancoban. Alternative route along the Murray River, through Walwa.

Sydney: to Canberra, then take the Monaro Highway to Cooma, on to Jindabyne. Take the Alpine Way past Thredbo to Khancoban. (Snow chains required to be carried in Winter - one way hire available.) Alternative route along the Hume Highway and turn off to Thredbo Tumbarumba (20km past Tarcutta), then on to Khancoban.

Flying:

Albury-Wodonga has daily flights from Melbourne and Sydney, also regular flights from Canberra.
Private/Small Aircraft are able to fly in to Khancoban (with permission from the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electricity Authority) or Corryong.

OtherTransport:

Coach and rail travel is available to Albury-Wodonga. Smaller, private coaches run regularly to Khancoban.
